Cosmopolitan club has a royal heritage as Mr.P.M.Tirumulpad belonging to the royal family has been the person behind the concept of this club. Club has its existence since the pre-independence period. Late Adv.M.R.Ramanathan and Mr.Korambayil Ahamed Haji were some of the eminent people who contributed towards the growth of this club. Club started functioning in the year 1945 as a tennis club, in a court founded by the Britishers about 2 centuries ago.
